Otranto can be reached by plane, train, bus, or car.

Otranto Central Station provides connections primarily to nearby cities, including the main tourist destinations in Salento (Lecce, Gallipoli, and Galatina). Find them at: https://www.trenitalia.com/.
For long-distance journeys, whether outside the province or the region, it's best to reach Lecce train station.
GETTING AROUND THE CITY
For short urban trips, you can get around on foot. Alternatively, you can rent a car, scooter, or bicycle from a private individual. The Ape Calessino is ideal for short trips, guided tours, and scenic tours, a low-speed vehicle for relaxed, stress-free tourism.
MOVING OUTSIDE THE CITY
From June to September, the "Salento in Bus" service is available, connecting the cities with the main seaside resorts of Salento. This includes the route connecting Otranto with nearby Maglie and Lecce. Throughout the rest of the year, there are always intercity buses operating to all the towns in Salento; check with BORMAN and COTRAP.
Airport Round-Trip: Private transfers must be booked for transportation to and from Brindisi Airport.
