Permanent exhibition "Prehistoric Sites in Otranto and the Deer Cave," located on the top floor of the Aragonese Castle. A major display of artifacts, with a new layout, that spans a period from the Paleolithic to the Metal Age.

Description

The permanent exhibition "Prehistoric Places in Otranto and the Deer Cave" is a collaboration between the Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts, and Landscape for the Provinces of Brindisi and Lecce and the Tourism and Culture Office of the Municipality of Otranto, based on a project by Carlo Contino of 3𝑠𝑒𝑖𝑧𝑒𝑟𝑜, and curated by Dr. Giovanna Muscatello.

Scientific coordination is by Dr. Serena Strafella, Dr. Giovanna Muscatello, and Dr. Ida Tiberi.

The exhibition is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to midnight.
