Idrusa - Urban Game

OTRANTO - ᴀɴɴᴏ 1480

The city of Otranto is attacked and subsequently conquered by the Turkish fleet.

Eight hundred Otrantines are killed for refusing to convert to Islam. In the Otranto of that time, Idrusa lives, wild and restless, ill-adapted to the rules of a society that wants women to stay at home or, at most, sit on the doorstep cleaning chicory.

A society that wants her to marry the fisherman Antonio; a simple and unchanging life that suffocates her restless soul. From a young age, she's considered "strange" by the other women of the place, especially her sister, who never misses an opportunity to criticize her.

Her beauty attracts the attention of a Spanish officer stationed in Otranto, while the boats sail across the sea during a ritual procession in honor of the Saints Cosmas and Damian. But she too will eventually face the arrival of the Turks, between terror and hope.
