Maria Corti Festival

The Maria Corti Festival is a literary festival dedicated to Maria Corti, a multifaceted intellectual who lived in the last century, a historian of the Italian language, and a writer with strong ties to Salento and the city of Otranto in particular.

The event, founded in 2022 and now in its fifth edition, combines literature and local promotion in a hybrid and highly original format, promoting the bond between Corti and the Otranto region.

The Festival, the brainchild of journalist Paola Moscardino, who is also its artistic director, is promoted by Otranto Culture Aps, in collaboration and with the patronage of the Municipality of Otranto, the Maria Corti Foundation, and the Manuscript Center of the University of Pavia.
