The Aragonese Castle of Otranto is one of the most iconic symbols of the city's history and culture, a true monument where past and present intertwine in a fascinating tale.

Towers, battlements, gun ports, and underground passages reveal the Castle's military soul, recounting a centuries-old history. The imposing towers dominate the landscape, the crenellations demonstrate its strategic position, and the underground passages conceal secret passages and warlike relics of the fortress's past.

The castle extends almost 10 meters below the entrance level, where the coat of arms of Emperor Catholus V stands proudly above the portal, a testament to Spanish rule.
