Otranto can be reached by plane, train, bus, or car.
BY CAR
Arriving in Otranto by car is perhaps the wisest option. Traveling by car allows you to explore with complete freedom, deciding on stops, even last-minute ones, to admire the scenery and taste local delicacies throughout Salento. You could also consider flying to Brindisi or Bari and then renting a car. Take the A16 motorway to the Bari Nord exit, then continue along the highway to Brindisi and then to Lecce. Just before entering the city, take the eastern ring road towards Otranto, Santa Maria di Leuca, and Maglie.
