TRICASE - 1° STEP
Tricase is located in an area rich in prehistoric and megalithic remains. Founded by three hamlets that joined forces to fend off Saracen attacks, Tricase is concentrated around a handful of its earliest homes in the maze of its historic center, dominated by the beautiful Church of San Michele Arcangelo.

From Leuca, we move to Salignano, where the Church of Sant'Andrea Apostolo surprises us with its architecture and artwork, accompanied by the panoramic view from the Tower. The Chapel of the Rosary, a place of prayer and contemplation, completes the stage.
In Patù, the Cento Pietre (Hundred Stones) transport us back in time with their mysterious symbols, while Vereto enchants us as an archaeological site of historical importance.
Giuliano di Lecce welcomes us with the evocative Pozzo Bon Bere (Bon Bere Well) and the fascinating Churches of San Pietro Apostolo and dell'Immacolata (Immaculate Conception). The Calvary and the Menhir Mensi immerse us in prehistory and ancient spirituality. The panoramic view from the Castle Tower is unforgettable, while the Church of San Giovanni Crisostomo amazes us with its Baroque splendor. The Loggia degli Sberleffi tells ancient stories and legends.
In Montesardo, the Torrino dell'Acquedotto (Aqueduct Tower) captivates with its architecture, and the Church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary invites reflection.
In the evocative rock village of Macurano, we discover ancient dwellings carved into the rock, evidence of a fascinating past.
In Caprarica di Lecce, the castle transports us to an atmosphere of times gone by, and the simple beauty of the Church of Sant'Andrea Apostolo welcomes us.
Finally, in Tricase, we are captivated by the majesty of the Church of San Domenico and the Dominican Convent of Saints Peter and Paul, while the Gallone Princely Palace surprises us with its elegance and history. The Church of the Nativity and the Blessed Virgin Mary enchants us with its works of art and sacred atmosphere.
