SAN PIETRO IN LAMA

Starting from Galatina, a charming town in Salento, we visit the Mother Church of SS. Pietro e Paolo, an imposing church that represents the spiritual heart of the local community. We continue our visit to the Palazzo Ducale or Castle, an elegant noble residence that recounts the city's aristocratic history.

Next, we head to the Church of Santa Maria della Grazia or the Immaculate Conception, a place of worship of great religious and artistic importance. Here we can admire splendid frescoes and works of sacred art.

We continue our journey and reach San Pietro in Lama, the last stop on the Way of St. Peter. This ancient town is a place of great spiritual significance for pilgrims following in the footsteps of the Apostle Peter. Here we can visit the Chapel of the Madonna del Pozzino, a small architectural gem that houses a sacred statue of the Madonna. We then continue to the Church of Santa Maria dell'Assunta, a place of worship that captivates with its architecture and artistic treasures. Finally, we explore the Church of Santa Maria della Croce, another testimony to faith and beauty in the area.
